Fnality International, a London-based fintech specializing in tokenized central bank money, has closed a $136 million Series C round led by WisdomTree, Bank of America, and Citi. The funding accelerates development of its distributed ledger payment systems for wholesale banking transactions.
The platform enables real-time settlement of trades and digital securities using blockchain technology, potentially reducing repo settlement times from days to seconds. New capital will expand currency support and liquidity tools for institutional clients including Goldman Sachs and UBS.
